Mordenkainens tome of foes 5e pdf download
There is a lot to unpack there and reading it did spark some ideas in terms of how adventure might get pulled into one side or another at various times and stages. Around the same idea, you get some great ideas for how to build cults and who they would serve, and how the political intrigue angle could be an excellent one to explore and build some lore around. If you are playing an elf, dwarf, halfling or gnome, there is some really grat backstory information in terms of their deities and gods, how their societies exist and how to play into those, and from those, we also get some playable races, including 3 elven variations and a dwarven and a gnome variation.
Most intresting is the addition of the Gith; their story of seeking to escape oppression from the mindflayers that ruled them and how their traits come out of that struggle are very intresting to me and I love that you can play either a Githyanki, who have been focusing on battle and strength or a githzerai who have been focused on developing their minds.

The monsters are a mix of favorites from previous editions, original creations and reprints from previous books. When I first received my review copy last week, my initial impressions were mixed. The lore chapters had lots of interesting details and the monster entries looked as good as anything in the Monster Manual My first concern when I skimmed the book was that many of the monsters were ones I had already seen in adventure books such Out of the Abyss and Princes of the Apocalypse.
As I dug deeper into the book, I was less worried about the reprints and started thinking how awesome this collection of monsters from across the multiverse was, especially with so many monsters having higher challenge ratings CR. The player options are a bit sparse, but what is there is useful and well done with gith race and subraces, new tiefling subraces for each of the Nine Hells, new elf and we see reprints of the duergar and deep gnome.
While not for everyone, the lore and monsters of this tome should pull in many experienced DMs and players and some new ones too into the major conflicts of the multiverse. Looking for an even deeper look at MToF? What Do You Get? Chapter 3: Dwarves and Duergar Another of the ancient wars involves the dwarves and tragic clan duergar who were enslaved by mind flayers.
While the character options are limited, those provided are excellent. The book really shines in the lore sections, looking at the major conflicts and providing details for those on each side. The monster half of the book is good with lots of challenging threats, even if some are reprints. Textme For Pc Free Download.
